Liverpool striker Luis Suarez will have been short of a few friends back in England after his goals essentially knocked the country out of the World Cup.
But he’s pretty much alienated himself after being caught on camera biting his opponent for an incredible THIRD time in his career.
The pundits on MOTD had no sympathy for the Uruguayan with Alan Shearer cheesily saying ‘Three bites and you’re out!’, a line he probably rehearsed endlessly since Suarez’s second bite, anticipating another offence.
To be fair to Shearer, he was once criticized for being remarkably wooden but now he’s quite comfortable on camera, smiling with ease.
But Suarez, in contrast, is too comfortable on camera and shrugs in the face of laws or rules. You can see the damning verdict on what Shearer said was a ‘staggering incident’ and one that he should be ‘hammered for’.
