QPR are in Dubai at the moment for a mid-season training camp in the heat.
During their stay, live-wire midfielder Adel Taarabt has spoken to the club’s in-house TV channel about his ability to affect games in the business end of the season.
Taarabt was virtually anonymous during the reign of Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road, and in his interview the Moroccan international took some thinly veiled swipes at the ex-QPR boss.
After saying “since we have a new manager everybody is giving 100%”, Taarabt could be heard sniggering to himself off camera. Later in the interview he hailed the fact QPR “now have a new tactic. We try to play football”.
Looking forward, QPR’s next match is against Arsenal, and Taarabt expressed his desire to play against the Gunners.
Taarabt recalled that he has previously scored a beauty for QPR against Arsenal, and that footage is included in the video above.
