Juventus 1 – Udinese 0 (Serie A, September 14, 2008) Amauri scored in the 67th after a melee in the area to give Juventus a 1-0 victory over Udinese.

Genoa 2 – AC Milan 0 (Serie A, September 14, 2008) AC Milan fell to their second successive defeat at the start of the Serie A season, Giuseppe Sculli scored in the 30th minute and Diego Milito converted a penalty in the final minute to seal the victory.

Napoli 2 – Fiorentina 1 (Serie A, September 14, 2008) Romania striker Adrian Mutu had put Fiorentina ahead near the end of the first half. Marek Hamsik and Christian Maggio scored second-half goals as Napoli came from behind for the victory.

Bologna 0 – Atalanta 1 (Serie A, September 14, 2008) Tiberio Guarente bagged his first Serie A goal to continue Atalanta’s 100 per cent per cent start to the season on Sunday and bring Bologna back to earth following their opening-day win at AC Milan.

Lecce 2 – Chievo 0 (Serie A, September 14, 2008) Second-half goals by Fabio Caserta and Jose Castillo gave Lecce victory over Chievo.

Siena 2 – Cagliari 0 (Serie A, September 14, 2008)

Lazio 2 – Sampdoria 0 (Serie A, September 14, 2008) Mauro Zarate curled a splendid shot under the crossbar in the seventh minute and his strike partner Goran Pandev controlled a long pass before knocking the ball past Sampdoria keeper Antonio Mirante in the 72nd to maintain Lazio’s 100 percent record.
