Apologies for being a little slow on the uptake to unearth this wonder-strike, but the wait is undoubtedly worth it.
With the Swedish season kicking back into life this weekend, friendly matches have been furiously played between various Scandinavian teams, and at the beginning of last week IFK Gothenburg sent out there under 19s to play against their Stabaek rivals.
The match itself ended in a 2-all draw, but the match was made memorable by a simply out-of-this-world overhead-kick from 16-year-old defender Jonathan Azulay. Without giving much away, all you need to know is that he scored from outside the Stabaek penalty area.
Jonathan Azulay’s contender for goal of the season can be seen here.
