923 minute goal drought! Lille fans booed Liverpool’s Divock Origi after penalty miss last night

This summer Liverpool spent £10m on Belgian World Cup star Divock Origi.

The 19 year old striker was immediately loaned back to Lille for a season to continue his development.

After a strong start to the season, Divock Origi is now suffering a pretty serious goal drought in France, last night seeing his penalty saved by the Wolfsburg keeper in the Europa League.

Now 923 minutes without a goal, the Lille fans booed his every touch after the penalty miss.

Pretty harsh to boo a 19 year old who is going through a bad spell.

Even if he does return to Liverpool in January, it doesn’t sound like he’s the man to get the goals flowing.
