For several days now Sunderland fans from all around the planet have been making their way to London for Sunday’s first cup final of the season, and on Saturday night a massive crowd of Wearsiders gathered in London’s Covent Garden for a booze-up.
Amazing scenes were pictured and recorded in central London as 1000s of Sunderland fans mobbed the streets in jovial spirits before the Capital One Cup final against Man City on Sunday.
In a huge credit to the Sunderland fans, while they drank and sung loudly ahead of the first showpiece final of the season, there were no reports of any trouble from fans of the Black cats.
