Match Preview

Aston Villa return to Premier League action having enjoyed their first foray into the Champions League in midweek. Unai Emery’s side cruised to a 3-0 win at Young Boys to get their European adventure off to an impressive start.

They’ve made a strong opening domestically as well, winning three of their first four games, with the only defeat coming at home to Arsenal. Last weekend they trailed Everton 2-0 but came back to win 3-2 with super sub Jhon Duran netting the winner with a long-range strike.

Wolves will arrive at Villa Park with the pressure starting to mount on head coach Gary O’Neil.

They Black Country side have taken just one point from their first four games, and lost 2-1 at home to Newcastle last weekend.
