Can Manchester United keep their fading title hopes alive with victory in this Sunday night Manchester Derby?
The Red Devils, who only began play in 2018/19, are enjoying the best season of their admittedly very short existence.
Just a point from either of their last two games would secure a top three finish for Marc Skinner, thereby taking Man United into the Champions League for the very first time.
Last Sunday, they were targeting the club’s first piece of major silverware, facing Chelsea in the FA Cup Final at a sold-out Wembley.

Back in the WSL, Manchester United have only lost twice all season, with both defeats coming at the hands of, you guessed it, Chelsea.
Chelsea face Arsenal earlier on Sunday, so Man United need a win here, while also hoping the result at Kingsmeadow goes their way.
Manchester City meantime have finished in the top three in each of the eight seasons, crowned champions in 2016, but this streak is under serious threat.
Gareth Taylor’s team have lost their last two away games, both 2-1, beaten at Arsenal and Liverpool, the latter a major surprise and a hammer blow in equal measure.
As a result, the Sky Blues sit fourth, three points below Arsenal, the side occupying the last Champions League spot, needing a win to stay in touch, ahead of the final day next Saturday.
Back in December, these two Manchester rivals played out a 1-1 draw at the Etihad; Leah Galton and then Laura Coombs scoring.
Since the start of last season, their five meetings have produced one Man United victory, two Man City wins and two draws.
This year though has seen a power-shift in Manchester in women’s football, making a home win at Leigh Sports Village seem likely.

Marc Skinner’s squad currently have a clean bill of health, besides defender Maria Þórisdóttir.
He’s likely to name an unchanged line-up from the FA Cup Final, featuring Euro 2022 winners Mary Earps in goal as well Ella Toone just in-behind top scorer Alessia Russo.
Captain Katie Zelem missed their last FAWSL game suspended, but is available for this one.

Defenders Laia Aleixandri and Alanna Kennedy are both injured, as is back-up goalkeeper Sandy MacIver.
Forward Mary Fowler missed Man City’s last game, that 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, due to injury, but is hopeful of returning, even if only to the bench.
Jamaican international Khadija “Bunny” Shaw will continue to be their main goal threat, having scored 27 goals in 26 appearances this season.
