Two sides experiencing completely different seasons so far in League One will clash at Highbury this weekend with Scott Brown still on the ropes as Fleetwood Town manager ahead of playing hosts to Sheffield Wednesday.
Brown has had some memorable results as head coach of Fleetwood, but his side are still sitting down in 16th and without much to shout about right now. The club have recently eased fears of a relegation battle even more, however, beating MK Dons 2-1 away from home to now create a gap of eight points from them in the drop zone.
Fleetwood also got a commendable draw away to the promotion hopefuls, Ipswich Town, just three weeks ago, while they are also into the third round of the FA Cup against Queens Park Rangers in January.
As for Wednesday, they remain third after registering three draws on the spin in December. They played out a goalless draw away to Derby County at the start of the month, before drawing 1-1 with Exeter City away from home. Back at Hillsborough, however, they drew 0-0 with Oxford United last weekend.
In fact, you have to go back to mid-November to see the last time Wednesday picked up all three points in League One by beating Shrewsbury Town at home.
