Levante fans certainly have not had much to celebrate in the last 12 months but their team pulled off a huge upset last Wednesday night.

In midweek, the Bats beat reigning champions Atlético Madrid away from home with Gonzalo Melero’s drive just after half time the only goal.

This made it two wins in five for Alessio Lisci’s men but they’d lost the other three and were winless in 27 before this mini-revival.

Celta de Vigo meanwhile are back in the top half of the table, looking to hold onto that position.

Eduardo Coudet’s side were held to a goalless draw at Cádiz nine days ago with Santi Mina seeing a late penalty saved at Estadio Ramón de Carranza.

Nevertheless, it continues O Celtiña’s decent form, having amassed 15 points from their last eight games, losing just once.

Celta de Vigo certainly have plenty of attacking talent in their squad.

Franco Cervi, Nolito, Brais Méndez and Santi Mina are all talented options but, as ever, it’s all about captain Iago Aspas.

He’ll be looking to add to his 11 goals so far this sseason.

After a miraculous victory in Madrid, Alessio Lisci won’t change too much.

Centre-back Shkodran Mustafi is missing due to a long-term knee injury.

But, veteran centre-back Martín Cáceres has slotted in nicely since joining from Cagliari.

Roger and Jorge de Frutos could continue as the front two with José Luis Morales an other option.

Roberto Soldado is available again after being sent off against Real Betis.
