Northern Irish fans won’t leave
Vast majority of NI fans still here in Parc des Princes. They're not being kept in. They just don't want to leave.

The Northern Irish fans were magnificent today as they roared on their side against World Champions Germany.
Germany ran out 1-0 winners, despite an incredible goalkeeping performance from Michael McGovern, and the Northern Irish fans must now wait to see if they will be one of the best 3rd placed teams.
The stadium had been vacated by the German fans but the Northern Irish fans refused to leave long after the final whistle, loudly singly “Will Grigg’s on Fire”.
Officials at the stadium eventually gave up and played the Will Grigg song on the speakers.

Expected to progress
Northern Ireland are likely to progress with three points thanks to their goal difference of zero, despite losing two of their three group games.
With teams needing little to advance, the new 24 team format has caused some rather boring games in the final round of group game fixtures and UEFA may have to reassess.
