Speaking at his post-match interview, Arsene Wenger lamented the sending off of Francis Coquelin in todays’ draw at Spurs.
Arsenal were in control, leading 1-0 and appearing to be in the ascendancy when defensive midfielder Coquelin needlessly got himself sent off for a silly challenge early on in the 2nd half.
Spurs rallied after that, and came back to lead in the game 2-1. Before Alexis Sanchez equalised for 2-2.
Wenger was particularly disappointed with Coquelin’s lack of discipline, having warned him at half-time to be wary that he was already on a yellow card.
