Colombia 1 – Brazil 1
One of the biggest matches in South America on Tuesday night saw Colombia draw 1-1 with Brazil.
Brazil took the lead against Colombia, with a fantastic goal, scored by the Chelsea midfielder.
A long chipped ball forward was delicately cut back to Willian by Neymar.
The Chelsea attacker then took aim with a strike that fired into the top corner for a brilliant finish.
Eleven minutes after half-time, former Chelsea and Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao equalised for Colombia.
The result means Colombia are third in World Cup qualification but remain looking over their shoulder.
Tottenham’s Davinson Sanchez
During the summer transfer window, Tottenham broke their club transfer record on 21-year-old Colombian central defender Davinson Sanchez.
Tottenham splashing out £42 million bringing Davinson Sanchez to north London from Ajax.
On Tuesday night against Brazil, Davinson Sanchez put in an impressive performance at the heart of Colombia’s backline.

Davinson Sanchez v Brazil
In general Davinson Sanchez had an assured performance against Brazil.
He dealt well with several high balls, putting in a couple of towering headers as Brazil looked to build attacks.
He also looked good with the ball at his feet.
Will Davinson Sanchez be in Tottenham’s squad for this weekend’s match against Everton?
Considering the fact he’s had to travel to the other side of the world for the international break, while he’s barely had a chance to bed into his new surroundings, it’s likely Spurs fans may have to wait a little longer to see their new signing in action.
