Arsenal lose at Palace
Arsenal slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace tonight, as their top 4 hopes took another massive blow.
It was the Gunners’ 4th straight away defeat in the Premier League, and Arsene Wenger’s side now looks in freefall as we head into the crunch stage of the season.
In a game that almost played out like a parody of the Wenger regime, Arsenal were outfought and out-thought by a technically inferior team for what feels like the umpteenth time this season.
Walcott apologizes to fans
Speaking to Geoff Shreeves afterwards, Theo Walcott apologized to the Arsenal fans for the limp performance.
But he then put his foot in it by admitting that Palace ‘wanted it more’, thereby essentially negating the apology.
Because what’s the point in apologizing if you then admit that the other side tried harder?
Walcott isn’t exactly flavour of the month with Arsenal fans these days, what with his consistenty mediocre performances, and this powder-puff apology probably won’t go down too well…
