Robbie Keane, FAI Hall of Famer
Robbie Keane was inducted into the Irish Hall of Fame last night at an FAI awards show.
Having broken the Irish goalscoring record during his international career in the green shirt, Keano is undoubtedly fully deserving of his place in the Irish Hall of Fame; indeed arguably only his namesake Roy has made a bigger contribution to the Irish cause in recent years.
Keane scored 68 goals in 146 games for the Irish, and played at 3 major tournaments for the Boys in Green.

And of course, aside from his international career, Keano enjoyed a stellar club career, which took him from Coventry to Inter Milan, to Leeds, Spurs and Liverpool before finishing up in MLS with La Galaxy.
Now set to retire from the game at the age of 36, Keane was treated to a wonderful night in Dublin, as several ex-teammates paid tribute to him with classy messages.
