If you wanted a mad Vincent Tan story that you haven’t heard before, Danny Gabbidon has it.
The former Crystal Palace and Cardiff defender rejoined the Welsh club in 2014 to take on a coaching position in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s background staff, while also being available for first team selection.
The experience was interesting to say the least. Gabbidon told a crazy anecdote on Sky Sports show Fantasy FC about a demand that Tan made when he was a coach there.
With Cardiff defenders struggling to score goals, Tan told Gabbidon that he wanted defenders to take more shots from the halfway line. Simply because he had seen another Cardiff defender score from there.
