Liverpool’s Ragnar Klavan error allows Southampton’s Nathan Redmond in to score (Video)

Southampton v Liverpool

After last night’s semi-final between Manchester United and Hull, tonight sees Southampton and Liverpool and Southampton lock horns at Saint Mary’s, with a ticket to Wembley for the final up for grabs.

And a quarter way through the 2-legged tie, Saints hold the initiative thanks to a brilliant finish by Nathan Redmond, which owed a little to good fortune it must be said.

Klavan error allows Redmond in

Ragnar Klavan has been reasonably solid when called upon by Jurgen Klopp this season, but he had an absolute brain far during the first half at Saint Mary’s.

Either that, or his eyesight isn’t very good, as he let an easy ball pass right by him, completely misjudging his clearance.

It allowed Nathan Redmond a clear passage through on goal, and he made no mistake when left 1 v 1 with Karius.

And take nothing away from Redmond’s finish, which was cool as a cucumber.
