With the spectacular season Leicester City are having – qualifying for the Champions League and sitting at the top of the Premier League table – it is no surprise that there has been rumours regarding their manager, Claudio Ranieri, signing a new long-term deal with the club.
The Italian has only been in charge for one season at the club but has had a massive impact since his arrival and has become a fan favourite during his time at the KingPower. The ex-Chelsea coach has lead his side to a 7 point lead at the top of the Premier League table and has been a calming presence on his players amid the media hype surrounding the club.
As always, Ranieri was ice cold in his most recent press conference and when asked if he may sign a new 7-year deal, Ranieri replied with “I don’t know. Why seven and not eight?”.
