Ed Balls has today been unveiled as the new chairman of Norwich City.
The Canaries are 17th in the Premier League, one place above the drop zone, and today they take on Aston Villa in a relegation 6-pointer at Carrow Road.
While Norwich fans may be hoping for signings in the summer, the club have made a significant appointment in the board room.
Former Labour shadow chancellor Ed Balls, a well known Norwich fan, is now their chairman.
He’s promised to be a “fan chairman”, whatever that means, while also stating he’ll get to grips with the club’s finances.
