Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham scores first Swansea goal (video)

Highly-regarded young striker Tammy Abraham netted his first goal for Swansea City during a friendly matchup with Richmond Kickers last night.

Talented teen

Blues starlet Abraham arrived at the Liberty Stadium earlier this month on a one-year deal, having just recently put pen-to-paper on a contract extension with the Stamford Bridge club.

The 19-year-old’s Welsh switch came amid much fanfare, with Abraham having bagged an extremely impressive 26 goals while on loan at Championship side Bristol City last season.

Perfect start

And the English U21 international did not take long to give Swans fans a taste of what he will bring to their side this coming season, having headed home the winner during their pre-season matchup with United Soccer League outfit Richmond Kickers.

The striker finished off a flowing team move to give his side the lead in the 80th minute, after Oliver McBurnie’s opener was cancelled out by a Franck Tayou strike.

There was also an amusing moment involving Abraham caught after the game, when the youngster struggled to get his jersey off ahead of a swap with one of the Kickers’ stars:
