Alan Pardew: Teams have to commit murder to get sent off against Crystal Palace (Video)

Alan Pardew could well be looking at a fine after his comments following Tuesday night’s 2-1 home defeat to Bournemouth.

The Eagles were without Yohan Cabaye against the Cherries after the French international was taken out by a disgraceful foul by Stoke’s Stephen Ireland last weekend which went unpunished by referee Mark Clattenburg.

Against Bournemouth, Pardew again thought his opponents could have been reduced to 10 men after Adam Smith took out Jordan Mutch.

After the game Pardew complained that teams have to “commit murder” to get sent off against Palace.

In other news, Palace are still waiting for a striker to score in open play this season in the league.
