Manchester United are currently facing FC Rostov in Russia for their Europa League tie and twitter cannot believe the state of the pitch.
Jose Mourinho has already criticised the surface during his pre-match build-up but many fans are seeing it for the first time.
The pitch closely resembles a local park and some sort of farmland and is proving difficult for both teams.
Rostov have been forced into an early change due to injuries while United are yet to fully adapt to the uneven surface.
This is the first leg of Manchester United’s Europa League tie and will look to keep a clean sheet to bring back to bring back to Old Trafford.
Regardless, Rostov have made it extra difficult for the Red Devil’s following a large travel time, hostile atmosphere and of course the pitch.
So far though, it has been futile, with United up 1-0 at the break.
It was obviously going to be the point of conversation, but people couldn’t quite understand how the club were allowed to play at the stadium!
There has been much criticism of it in the past, but it is a different case when you see it for yourself, as these tweeters discovered.
Plenty of chat about the quality of the pitch in Rostov ahead of tonight's game. Not bad for the time of year, if you ask me. pic.twitter.com/yjU9rdgooN
