Manchester City were knocked out of the Champions League following their clubs 6-6 aggregate draw over Monaco in the last sixteen.
The French side took a 2-0 lead in the first half and it looked likely that the Citizens were on their way out of the competition.
Then, a goal from Leroy Sane in the second half turned the game on its head.
City then needed to hold a lead against an attack that terrorised them in the first half, but were unable to do just that.
Bakayoko scored a header late in the game to turn the tie back on its head.
With Monaco having a 3-1 lead and three away goals due to the 6-6 aggregate score, they just needed to hold on.
Defending horror show
With a 6-6 game on aggregate, it is safe to say that this was very much like a game you would play in the street!
The defending quality was horrendous at times, with the game becoming a case of who could score the most goals!

And that's what happens when you play Aleksandar Kolarov as a centre back. #ASMMCI

And judging by that goal, it's the defending that's to blame.

The rules of this game seem to be: If you're trailing then it's your turn to attack. And both teams can't defend for sh*t. So it's great.

Assuming they don't win the title, Pep Guardiola's first season at Man City has to go down a failure.

Man City have no excuses, very much on the way to a trophlyless season.

Man City looking good to win absolutely nothing this year then. So much for Pep being the saviour. Just shows you can't polish a turd
