VIDEO: Referee gets knocked out cold in Morocco (DHJ El Jadida-FUS Rabat)

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

We really shouldn’t snigger at this video.

Last weekend in Morocco it was a case of top versus bottom as league leaders DHJ El Jadida played host to lowly FUS Rabat in a match which DHJ ran out 2-nil winners. Yet the story of the match had less to do with the result and more with a horrific injury to referee Khalid Ramsis, as the match official was knocked-out cold for several minutes in the run-up to the halftime interval.

The incident occurred in the 38th minute.

With the visitors already 1-down, midfielder Fussiste Souiyat rifled off a thunderous shot from distance which inadvertently smacked ref Ramsis on the side of his head. Once hit, the ref immediately fell to the turf and the players soon realised that the man in black had lost conciseness. Medics were quick to arrive on the scene, and it wasn’t long before the match official was carted off to the local hospital for treatment.

Footage of the unfortunate injury to referee Khalid Ramsis can be seen here.

    Lost conciseness?

Does that mean he rambled on a lot?

info fans: only what is needed in football was finally to drive the video referee, to avoid the contested decision.
See the world the revolutionary project IVSR net site (international virtual school referees). There is also a video on youtube MINICAM VIDEO REFEREE (how to see eye referee). And it is very important to make a lot of pressure on fans FIFA and UEFA representatives, but I myself can not do anything against the old (conservative) people who ”govern“ football
    Thank you Robert Henn
