News breaking on the wire reports that AC Milan have followed in the footsteps of Manchester United and delved into the children’s market to sign their latest talent, capturing 9-year-old Mexican wunderkid Edgardo “Gato” Obregon.
Much like United’s Rhain Davis, Edgardo Obregon has already been earmarked for big things in football. Having been groomed at Chivas de Guardalajara and Barcelona, the Rossoneri have allegedly offered Obergon a place at the Milan academy, as Milan hope to develop and polish Obergon’s hugh potential.
Obregon, whose favourite players include Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho, has so far enjoyed his football as an attacking midfielder. And the 9-year-old has already made quite an impression showing off his range of dribbling, passing and shooting skills bringing him to the attention of Europe’s elite.
Video evidence of Edgardo “Gato” Obregon can be seen here.

I have not seen a 10, 11, 12 or 13 year old kid do what this kid can do. European scouts are not blind and when they see a kid that can play like this, they know that they have the next phenomenon. I don’t think pro clubs can sign kids so young, but soemone will probably offer his family a deal sooner or later. I would pay now or in 10 years to see this kid play!

Someone will put their money on this kid sooner or later because he is certainly a heck of potential future superstar.
