The Scouse Haka: Everton launch their new All-Black (and pink) kit with Maori dancers (video)

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Everton have gone the extra mile to hype up the launch of their new away shirt by employing a group of Maori Haka dancers to perform the ceremonial Haka dance at Goodison Park.

The six-strong Maori group, all decked out in the new Everton kit, stood outside the Toffee’s new club shop in the city centre on Thursday and performed a version of fans favourite “If You Know Your History” during their appearance.

While the performance was enjoyed by Evertonians, Liverpool fans will surely have a good giggle as their Blue neighbours went all theatrical for their new kit launch.

Everton’s Haka can be seen here.
