Red Carded Ramos
Sergio Ramos and the Red Card could be a children’s book series if it wasn’t so ghastly at times.
The Real Madrid defender picked up the 22nd red card of his career and his fifth in a Clasico against Barcelona at the Bernabeu on Sunday night. The referee gave him his marching orders for a reckless tackle on Lionel Messi.
Although he didn’t catch the Barcelona attacker, he could have seriously hurt him.
Both feet were off the ground and he left the referee with no choice.
Madrid were losing 2-1 at the time and it made their task even harder. Against the odds, they equalised late on through James Rodriguez. Unfortunately for the hosts, that wasn’t enough to stop Messi magic in stoppage time.
Exchange with Gerard Pique
On his way off the pitch, Ramos exchanged angry words with Gerard Pique.
Although the pair have a formidable partnership at international level, their relationship is rocky away from La Roja with regular quarrels being played out on Twitter.
Here, it appears as though Ramos was unhappy with Pique’s bid to get him sent off.
Have a look at their spat in the pictures and tweets below.

Hah! Ramos just went "go on, say something now, sunshine.." to Piqué. The Barca defender very vocal about how much he dislikes Madrid.
