Waiting on United
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has decided to wait on Manchester United to offer him a new contract before he makes any decisions about his future.
The forward is of course out with injury and has not committed his future to any club this summer, with offers on the table from LA Galaxy, and depending on which press stories you believe, possibly a host of other clubs to boot.
Good relationship with Mourinho
Not only have the fans taken to Zlatan, and the Premier League proven to be easy pickings for him in terms of his goals, but he’s playing for a manager he loves.
The relationship between Zlatan and Jose Mourinho is a good one, with the two often speaking positively about each other in the media to boot, and that is a key factor in why Zlatan does want to remain in England.
Kids in academy
Zlatan has enrolled his two sons in the United academy, and it seems that is a clear indication he sees himself staying at the club, with rumours flying around that the club wanted to offer him a new deal, but Zlatan himself turned it down until he could prove he was fully fit.
United have added to their forward line this summer with Romelu Lukaku, but they of course also have Marcus Rashford, who has shone this pre-season and impressed the fans.
