In a suitably bizarre end to 2016, Wilfried Zaha has squashed the beef he had with Harry the Hornet. For those of you who don’t know Harry the Hornet, he’s Watford’s mascot, not a WWE wrestler.
The beef is two dimensional, it has no volume. Nobody can turn up this beef.
Let’s bring you the backstory on this bizarre but mercifully short-lived feud. Crystal Palace winger Zaha was booked for simulation during his side’s 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road. Mocking his for his playacting, Harry the Hornet dived in front of Zaha at the final whistle. Sam Allardyce was furious about the stunt.
Walter Mazzarri didn’t really see anything to be outraged about and asked everyone to laugh about it. Zaha appears to have obliged with the tweet that you can see in the screenshot below. Beef squashed.
