West Brom v Arsenal: Ozil out, Welbeck striker [Team Sheets]

West Brom v Arsenal

Mesut Ozil misses out with a knee injury picked up in training and won’t be risked.

Arsenal take on West Brom at the Hawthorns in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off.

An anti-Wenger banner was set to be flown over the stadium during the match, but bad weather has reportedly grounded the plane.

Back to normality

Arsenal have lost five of their last eight matches. Two of their three wins in that time have come against non-league sides Sutton United and Lincoln City.

In each of their last five matches, the Gunners have either faced a five time European Cup winner (in Bayern Munich and Liverpool) or non-league opposition.

Normality will resume with Arsenal’s visit to West Brom, which they cannot afford to lose.

Arsene Wenger’s side head into the weekend in fifth, five point behind Liverpool. Crucially, they have two matches in hand over the Red.
