West Brom have bid for Manchester United flop Morgan Schneiderlin, according to the BBC.
The bid is reportedly to the tune of £13million.
Everton have also been linked with £20million plus move for the 27-year-old, but the Frenchman is expected to depart for much less than that, such is Man United’s keenness to offload him
Schneiderlin has started just three matches this season and has been limited to 11 minutes of Premier League action.
Down the pecking order
He is way down in the midfield pecking order, behind the likes of Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera, Michael Carrick and even Marouane Fellaini.
When asked about the bid, Baggies manager Tony Pulis said: “I don’t want to say any more than confirm our bid. We have to be fair to Manchester United and the player.”
The Baggies already have a number of ex-Man United players in their squad. Schneiderlin would add to former Red Devils Ben Foster, Jonny Evans and club captain Darren Fletcher.
