Leo Messi’s tunnel trouble

The lead story for Spanish news outlet Caden Ser on Wednesday morning is that after the match at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night there was some sort of trouble in the tunnel, and Leo Messi was at the centre of it all.

The way Caden Ser tell the story, unnamed Man City players “insulted” Leo Messi after the match, and the Argentine reacted by calling one opponent an “idiot”.

Tensions rose so high that Leo Messi needed to be removed from the situation and accompanied into the Barca locker room by one of the club’s delegates: Carles Nadal.

Peacemaker Kun Aguero

As Messi fumed, it was left to Man City star Sergio Aguero to act as a peacemaker.

Kun reportedly approached his Argentine strike partner to calm him down, while Aguero also revealed he didn’t hear what Messi may have said in reaction to the City players.

Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo are also claiming that Messi headed to the City dressing room to look for the unnamed player.
