The BBC have released this morning a story stating that they expect Tottenham to complete the signing of Davinson Sánchez from Ajax ‘very soon’.
Sánchez the rising star
Sánchez signed for Ajax last summer for just €5m last summer from Columbian side Atlético Nacional, since playing a huge part in Ajax run in the Europa League helping them reach the final.
The 21 year-old would complete a back-three at Tottenham made up completely of former Ajax players, should he sign and line up alongside Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
Tottenham have enjoyed much success in signing players from Ajax in the past, also having acquired Christian Eriksen, along with their incredible centre-back pairing.
