Real Madrid will sign David De Gea in June if Man United sell at a reasonable price [AS]

Alarm bells will be going off for Manchester United fans on Friday as the splash of Spanish paper AS becomes uncovered by Red Devils.

The paper has a chilling headline which translates into English, the front page of the sports daily shouts ‘Operation De Gea’.

The splash reveals Los Blancos’ plans to sign 24-year-old De Gea in June, provided Manchester United are willing to sell the player at a so-called “reasonable” price.

AS go on to say that if Man United refuse to let the Spanish keeper leave Old Trafford this summer, then De Gea would move to the Santiago Bernabeu for free in 2016 when his current United deal expires.

Making sure there is a Plan C in place too, AS then note that Chelsea stopper Petr Cech would be an alternative to De Gea if the Spanish goalie wholly rules out a move to Real.

Whether De Gea or Chelsea’s Cech are signed by Real, what it apparent is that the future appears bleak for Iker Casillas in Madrid.

AS disclose that Real want Iker to make the first move with regard to his future.
