Liverpool buy a specialist left back!
In recent days, speculation has grown that Liverpool were close to signing Hull left back Andrew Robertson.
For the whole of 2016/2017, Liverpool played James Milner at left back, with plenty of success as the former Manchester City midfielder adapted well.
On Wednesday, plenty of reliable sources have confirmed that Liverpool will sign Andy Robertson.
Andrew Robertson Liverpool medical on Thursday
The Scottish defender will take a medical at Liverpool on Thursday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will pay 8 million pounds up front. With a fee rising to 10 million pounds.
Liverpool fans have generally come round to the fact their side are buying Andrew Robertson – it will be intriguing to see whether he is a starter ahead of James Milner.
The smart money suggests Milner will keep his place for the very biggest games.
It appeared that Milner ran out of steam towards the end of last season…

Hull selling plenty of players
Hull have lost a lot of players this summer following their relegation from the Premier League.
Tom Ince joined Huddersfield. Whilst Tom Huddlestone re-joined Derby earlier this week.
Robertson played 33 games in the Premier League last season. Scoring one goal.
Alberto Moreno was a bit-part player at Liverpool last season and could well move on this summer thanks to the arrival of Robertson.
