Hours after reports from Sky Sports indicated that Barcelona’s bid for Ousmane Dembele had been rejected by Borussia Dortmund, a Spanish journalist has thrown a spanner in the works.
Fernando Palomo of ESPN claims that a deal between the two clubs is done.
Palomo says that Barcelona will be spending more than they wanted to initially, but still less than what Dortmund would’ve liked for their star youngster.
Lo que sé: Dembelé, según alguien cercano al tema, se hará. No en las condiciones que quiere el BVB, pero más de lo que quiere el Barcelona.

Barcelona purusuit of Dembele has intensified since Neymar’s recent £198m move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Catalans are, of course, also chasing Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, although a move for the Brazilian is looking less likely by the day.
Barcelona’s transfer window has been largely underwhelming so far, with former Spurs midfielder Paulinho the most high-profile signing made.
