Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is after midfield duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ross Barkley.
The Mail are reporting that the Italian manager is keen on brining in more English faces to Stamford Bridge, having just appointed Gary Cahill club captain.
The article goes on to say that Tom Davies and Harry Kane are also on Conte’s radar.
Conte has recently gone on record saying that if he could sign any striker it would be Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
Last year of contracts
Chamberlain and Barkley are certainly much more realistic targets.
Both players are entering their final 12 months at their respective clubs.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has all but confirmed that the central midfielder won’t be at Goodison Park this season while Chamberlain has been linked with a move away from Arsenal for a while.
The versatile winger has been a target of Liverpool as he has struggled to nail down a starting role in Arsene Wenger’s eleven.
According to the Mail, Conte still wants to bring in four more players before the close of the window on August 31.
