Harry Winks carried off on stretcher

Tottenham injury update on Harry Winks & Victor Wanyama before the Swansea game

Swansea v Tottenham

Is the Premier League title race still on?

Following last weekend’s results in the EPL, Chelsea’s lead at the top of the table has been cut to seven points, as Crystal Palace shocked everyone with a 2-1 win at the Blues, while Spurs beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor.

This week Chelsea take on Man City at home, while Spurs have another away match at Swansea.

If the Blues lose and Tottenham win in midweek, it’s possible that by the time Chelsea face Bournemouth on Saturday night, Maurcio Pochettino’s men could be within one point of the Pensioners.

Early team news

The Spurs win at Burnley came at a cost as Harry Winks and Victor Wanyama both exited the game early with knocks.

Winks’ injury looked much worse as he was stretchered off the pitch.

On Monday, Spurs have announced a handful of injury updates. It’s been confirmed Winks is out of the Swansea game, Wanyama is questionable, while Harry Kane could be back in action in a fortnight.
