Stoke City’s latest signing Jese is set to face off against the man who ended his Real Madrid career, Arsenal’s summer signing Sead Kolašinac.
Jese spent the brunt of his career at Real Madrid and was considered a very talented youngster with a big future in football.
That came crashing to an end when the player tore his ACL due to a challenge from Arsenal new boy Kolasinac.
The Bosnian went in for a tackle he was never going to win and well and truly went through the player, leading to his horrendous injury.
That setback was set to be the one that meant he could not get his Real Madrid career back on track and the player eventually left for PSG in a big money deal
His career failed to get out of second gear even after a move as the player struggled to regain his former quality.
A loan move to Las Palmas later and the player had a decision to make over his future, and eventually joined Stoke City.
Now, Jese will hope to make the player who effectively ended his Real Madrid pay for what he did with a brilliant performance.
How weird is it that Jese's Stoke debut likely to be vs Arsenal, who have Kolasinac the man who did his ACL & wrecked his Real Madrid career pic.twitter.com/9iYhNOaUFq

One on, one out
While Stoke City have brought in Jese, who is seen to be a fairly decent coup, they have also let one player go.
That is in the form of Spanish striker Joselu as the player joins up with Rafa Benitez at Newcastle.
The Mackem’s manager is looking to bring in a Spanish contingent at St James Park, with Javier Manquillo already joining the club.
Benitez is also targeting West Ham goalkeeper Adrian and has now completed a swoop for Joselu who has struggled at Stoke.
