Wilfriez Zaha, Palace’s Wing Wizard
He hasn’t been grabbing many headlines, mainly due to Crystal Palace’s dire straits, but Wilfried Zaha is having a fine season, individually speaking.
The winger probably isn’t enjoying the season so much given how poor the team are playing, but on the personal front he looks back to his best.
Zaha of course made his name at Palace before making the ill-fated move to Manchester United, where he played just 2 Premier League games during a period which was shrouded in mystery.
Despite being back at Palace since 2013, Zaha only really started reproducing his best form last season, en route to the FA Cup final.
But this year he’s turned it up another notch, and has attracted the interest of a Premier League suitor.
Spurs want him
Because according to the Mail, Spurs are set to make another move for the winger this January.
Spurs made a failed bid for Zaha last summer, offering a paltry 12m pounds, a sum which was roundly rejected by the Palace board.
But with Pardew now gone and Big Sam Allardyce in as the new manager, the Mail say Spurs want to take advantage of the uncertainty at Selhurst Park by wooing Zaha away.
