Allan Nyom says sorry

28-year-old Allan Nyom joined West Brom from Watford in a £3m deal in the summer, and in the past few months he’s established himself as a regular starter for the Baggies.

Last weekend West Brom beat Watford in the Premier League in Nyom’s first match against his former employers.

A picture was taken during the game of Nyom celebrating West Brom’s three points in front of the Watford fans.

Fans of the Baggies have been sharing the pictures on social media, but it’s now clear that Nyom isn’t so happy about that.

Update on Instagram

On Tuesday, the Cameroonian international used social media to post an apology to Watford fans.

Nyom wrote the following on Instagram:

I just want to apologise to the Watford FC fans because, unfortunately, it seems that my celebration during the Saturday game was considered as a lack of respect.

Sincerely, it never was my intention to disrespect the club or the fans and I apologise.

What a classy guy!
