Isco to Spurs?
Transfer deadline day could be extremely hectic at White Hart Lane.
It would be no surprise if Daniel Levy has left much of Tottenham’s business to the very last minute, as the notorious power-broker aims to secure the best deals he can for the Lillywhites.
One player who has been rumoured to Tottenham in the past few days is Real Madrid playmaker Isco.
Isco’s opportunities at Real Madrid seem hugely limited this season, and his departure from the Santiago Bernabeu has been mooted repeatedly in the past few days.
Indeed, Tuesday’s edition of AS claimed Isco has been told to look for a new club by Real Madrid.
AS also claimed Mauricio Pochettino has already spoken to Isco and the 24-year-old attacking midfielder has interest in going on loan to either Tottenham or former club Malaga.
Isco on social media engagement
Unfortunately for Spurs, it seems that Malaga – Isco’s former club – are in pole position to re-sign the player.
Overnight on Tuesday, Isco ‘liked’ a tweet which called for him to return to Malaga.
That’s not all.
Malaga’s president Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani has also hinted that Isco could return to the club on Twitter.
