Nathan Ake returns to Chelsea
It has since emerged that Chelsea’s deadline for bringing back Ake had just 24 hours to run at Bournemouth with the Blues making a late decision on the young Dutchman.
Nevertheless, it is great news for Chelsea that they could bring back one of their loan players as he has played so well, rather than the usual case, due to a lack of playing time.
Chalobah welcomes back Ake
The decision to bring back Ake from Bournemouth was made on Sunday but since Chelsea had the day off yesterday, he did not train with Antonio Conte’s first team until today.
On Tuesday morning, Nathaniel Chalobah posted a video of Ake’s arrival in the Chelsea first team changing room at Cobham to Instagram Stories.
It features Chalobah with Ake, saying: “Ake my boy… he’s back, he’s back, we’ve got a new signing, he’s not new, old but new.”
