Manchester United’s hero in the FA Cup final last season, Jesse Lingard, might not have made much impact on the 3-1 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford on Boxing Day, but he won social media after the game.
First, there was a very amusing picture where he aimed some “banter” at Ander Herrera and then he added an amusing video to Instagram Stories, featuring him celebrating with Kai Rooney, one of Wayne’r three sons.
It features a special handshake and, of course, a dab.

Manchester United 3 – Sunderland 1
Manchester United made it four wins on the bounce in the Premier League by beating Sunderland 3-1 at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.
Goals from Daley Blind, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a wonder scorpion kick from Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed victory for Manchester United. Fabio Borini pulled one back for the visitors.
Jesse Lingard played the opening 62 minutes of the game but was replaced by the Armenian playmaker who would go onto steal the show. Rooney missed the Sunderland match through a quite bizarre injury.
