Harry Kane was back to his best for Tottenham against QPR on Saturday in the Premier League.

The only game in the English top flight on Saturday came to life just after the half hour, when Spurs’ Kane broke the deadlock at Loftus Road from a set-play.

Kane scored his 15th goal of the league season when the striker headed home Andros Townsend’s inswinging free-kick.

Kane doubled the advantage midway through the second half to fire Spurs 2-up at the Super Hoops.

Breaching QPR’s shoddy offside trap, Kane rounded goalie Rob Green before rolling the ball into the net.

Kane’s double was scored in front of England boss Roy Hodgson, as the 21-year-old attacker looked to book his place in the next England squad.

Spurs won the match 2-1 to move up into 6th. QPR remain in the bottom three.

Harry Kane’s latest double for Tottenham boosted his reputation even further, and the best tweets on the striker’s performance on Saturday are below.
