Bad day for Barcelona
Wednesday is another rough day for FC Barcelona.
Tuesday saw two targets appear to disappear out of Barcelona’s reach as they still look to sign players after Neymar’s departure to PSG.
Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho and Nice’s Jean Michael Seri have long been tipped for summer moves to the Camp Nou.
While the Sun believe Barca are set to make a fourth and final bid for Coutinho, Seri has said he plans to stay at Nice for the foreseeable future.
At the same time, Barcelona’s official Twitter account was hacked.
The hackers announced that Real Madrid old boy Angel Di Maria was joining the Catalans.
Barcelona furious with Leo Messi & company
But that’s not all.
The likes of Gerard Pique, Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic all revealed that they were hanging out with Neymar on Tuesday.
Neymar was back in Spain to celebrate his son’s birthday, while his former Barcelona team mates turned up at the event.
The get-together came at the same time that word leaked out of the Camp Nou that Barcelona are planning to sue Neymar over a loyalty bonus.
Accordingly, Barcelona are furious with their players for hanging out with the PSG star.
‘Mutiny of Instagram’
Spanish radio station Cadena Ser have reported on the Barcelona backlash to the Neymar party.
Indeed, the party is now being dubbed the “‘mutiny of Instagram”.
Cadena Ser claim that the “Instagram riot” wasn’t planned by the Barcelona players, however the club’s directors are fuming with how the footballers have sided with Neymar as the Catalans start legal proceedings against him.
The story seem to highlight how the Barca board and Barca players are far from being on the same page.
