Chelsea make Arsenal look stupid
Ever since Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-0 at The Emirates in September, the Blues have made the Gunners look a little silly.
It should have been Arsenal that kicked on from a fantastic win at home, to challenge for the Premier League title.
Instead, Antonio Conte refined his 3-4-3 tactics in the final half an hour of that match and since then Chelsea have not looked back.
Even after the defeat at Spurs, Chelsea remain five points clear at the top of the Premier League, whilst Arsenal trail their London rivals by eight points.
Chelsea recall Nathan Ake
On Sunday, Chelsea recalled Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth.
Ake has impressed at the Cherries, alongside Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere, and Chelsea used up their clause to recall the young Dutchman whenever they wanted.
So, as a result, Arsenal fans wondered whether the Gunners would also recall Jack Wilshere from Bournemouth.
Wenger: “It’s season-long loans in the Premier League”
Wilshere has been in fine form in recent weeks and Arsenal look short in midfield due to injuries sustained by Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin whilst Mohamed Elneny has joined up with Egypt at AFCON.
On Thursday, Arsene Wenger was asked whether he would recall Wilshere from Bournemouth to add strength in numbers to his midfield.
Wenger answered: “It’s season-long loans in the Premier League.”
Cue some Gooner rage…
Chelsea are recalling Ake from his loan with Bournemouth so why the fuck ain't we recalling wilshere when we've got 2 centre midfielders??

I despise Chelsea but they mean business. Recalling Ake from loan when they don't need him while Arsenal leave Wilshere and have 2 fit CMs.

Fucking unbelievable.Chelsea recall Ake & we can't recall Wilshere because Wenger didn't put a release clause in. How much more must we take

Chelsea recalled Ake from Bournemouth who was on a season long loan. Why can't we call Jack Wilshere back. We so need him now with Santi out

Chelsea recall Ake from Bournemouth. Arsenal probably wish they could do same with Wilshere, but didn't include recall clause.

So Chelsea put a recall clause in young Ake's loan deal but we don't have one for a whole Jack Wilshere

Chelsea calling Ake back to increase their numbers. Meanwhile we can't get Wilshere back to improve our XI. Arsenal are a small club.
