Anthony Martial & Tottenham
In the past few weeks, stories have popped up linking Man United striker Anthony Martial with a possible move to Tottenham.
Last weekend, the eye-catching rumour was revealed by RMC Sport.
Usually a pretty reliable source, the French news outlet announced that Tottenham have had a bid rejected for Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial.
The RMC Sport article was incredibly vague on Tottenham’s offer. Moreover, the report revealed an apparent two-horse race for Martial, which also includes Inter Milan.
All RMC Sport revealed was that the Tottenham bid which was rejected was for a permanent move. And, that Inter Milan’s offer for Martial was a loan bid.
On target v Swansea
Man United recorded their second successive 4-0 win in the Premier League on Saturday at Swansea.
For the second weekend running, French forward Martial came off the bench to score in the Red Devils victory.

After finding the target against Swansea, Martial took to social media after the game.
In what seemed a significant update, considering links with Tottenham, Martial posted a picture on social media of his goal celebration.
Martial pointed to the Man United crest on his jersey, as if to suggest he’s going nowhere.
While fans will be happy to see Martial’s social media update, he still has a tough time breaking into Jose Mourinho’s XI. He seems behind Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the pecking order at the start of the season.
