As per a report from Sky Sports this evening, West Bromwich Albion have expressed an interest in bringing Chelsea legend John Terry to the Hawthorns ahead of next season.
Terry is currently a free agent, having been released by long-time club Chelsea at the end of last season, following a 22-year spell with the club.
Many have claimed that the 78-time capped English international lacks the mobility to continue playing at the top level, but one manager ready to take a punt on the 36-year-old is West Brom boss Tony Pulis.
Pulis had expressed an interest in bringing Terry to the Hawthorns earlier this year, feeling the Blues legend would thrive in the deep-lying, organised fashion of the Baggies’ backline.
However, West Brom are not the only side who have contacted Terry’s entourage about a possible move, with fellow Premier League side Bournemouth and Championship outfit Aston Villa also said to be interested.
