The Pep Guardiola v Jose Mourinho quiz

Due to the international break, we have not been able to publish our weekly Premier League quiz. But, we have something quite exciting instead!

Saturday features one of the games of the season, as Manchester United host Manchester City to kick off Gameweek 4.

It should be a fascinating encounter as Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola resume their sometimes quite aggressive rivalry.

A score of 6/10 on the quiz below is doing pretty well. We like to make fiendishly hard quizzes!

Manchester United v Manchester City

The Premier League returns from the international break with a bang as Manchester United host Manchester City at Old Trafford.

Both sides come into the encounter worrying about how their international players are faring following close to two weeks away.

Sergio Aguero misses the match for Manchester City due to suspension. Whilst Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been able to take it easy during the international break, holidaying in Monaco, after retiring from the Sweden side.

9 points from 3 games

Both Manchester United and Manchester City come into this encounter with nine points from three games in a blistering start to the Premier League season.

The only other side to notch three wins out of three is Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, who play Swansea away on Sunday.

A win in the Manchester derby on Saturday lunchtime will boost both sides for the coming season ahead, which looks like being one of the toughest of all time in England’s top flight.

Certainly, a win for either Manchester United or Manchester City would give them local bragging rights and set them up for the challenges ahead.

Following this derby game, both Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho will concentrate on European football. The former the Champions League and the latter, the Europa League.

Manchester City host Manchester United at The Etihad in late February.
